School Project 5 weeks Poster Design
I was asked to create an informational poster with a front and back side about any topic regarding to being localized from West Michigan. I chose to base my poster on Latinx painters because of the wonder and joy of murals that I have experienced in downtown Grand Rapids. Also being a Latina myself, I am inspired by others in my race and heritage who are artists and that shine beauty on our cultures. Inspiration for the poster was drawn from my background as well, such as the use of a bold and slanted handwritten letter style that can be seen on signs in the streets of Mexico.
